Homicide detectives investigating the suspicious death of a man at a home in the NSW Central West have renewed a public appeal for information after another man was seen in the area at the time.

Police found the man’s body after being called to a home on Walker Crescent in Wellington, about 350km north-west of Sydney and 50km from Dubbo, about 10.15pm on Friday, July 25.

Officers were initially called to the property for a welfare check.

Police would like to speak with a man they believe can assist with inquiries.

The man is described as wearing a dark long jacket over a dark puffer jacket with red and white joggers.

It is believed he was in the Walker or Thornton Street area between Thursday, July 24 and Friday, July 25.

Police are seeking dashcam footage, mobile videos and CCTV as their investigation continues.
