A couple killed in a helicopter crash during a flying lesson on the Isle of Wight yesterday have been named.
Justyna Czoska, 52, and Wojtek Kowalkowski, 49, died when the aircraft ‘spiralled’ to the ground in a field site near the A3020 Shanklin Road on Monday morning.
The pair, from Bloxham in Oxfordshire, are understood to have travelled to the island to fulfil a dream of Mr Kowalkowski’s to learn how to fly.
Ms Czoska’s daughter Julia Buzar, 22, posted a tribute on social media, writing: ‘I have no words the world took my mum too soon, she was the best mum you could ask for, loved by everyone.
‘I never thought I’d be writing something like this.

Witness Leigh Goldsmith told the Isle of Wight County Press she was driving towards Shanklin when she saw the helicopter ‘spiralling’ before it went out of sight and came down in a hedge.
Local fire crews also attended, and an Air Accident Investigation Branch (AAIB) team was sent to investigate.
Joe Robertson, Conservative MP for Isle of Wight East, told Times Radio the incident was ‘heartbreaking’, saying what should have been a fun morning out turned to ‘tragedy’.
