A man has been charged after attending an Adelaide anti-immigration protest and holding a sign which appeared to show accused Victorian police killer Dezi Freeman.
A 39-year-old man from Golden Grove was arrested today and charged with displaying offensive material in a public place.
Police confirmed yesterday that they were looking for a man after the March for Australia rally in Adelaide on Sunday.

Acting Commissioner Linda Williams condemned the sign and said police wanted to talk to the man to determine his motivations for holding it.
“Police were deployed into the crowd, but by the time police arrived on that area, we couldn’t see him and the sign had disappeared,” Williams said.
“But our inquiries are well advised, so I would urge him before we find him if he wants to hand himself into a police station so we can have a chat with them about that sign .”
The man was bailed to appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court on October 28.
