A man has been stabbed in his sleep by another man known to him, who allegedly broke into his Brisbane home on Saturday morning.
Police say a 25-year-old man from Camira broke into a home on Mollison Street in West End and stabbed a sleeping 27-year-old man in the torso at 5.15am.
He then allegedly began pouring petrol on his victim before being interrupted by another person in the home.

The man fled the scene.
Police and paramedics arrived and the victim was taken to hospital in a serious but stable condition.
The man was arrested near a Morayfield shopping centre at 9.30am yesterday.
He was charged with attempted murder and enter dwelling with intent.
He will face Brisbane Magistrates Court this morning.
