A pilot has died following a plane crash in north-west New South Wales earlier today.
Emergency services were called to an airstrip in White Cliffs, around 260km from Broken Hill, at around 7.15am.
The male pilot’s body was recovered at the scene of the crash.

Police, NSW Ambulance, Fire and Rescue NSW, NSW Rural Fire Service and the NSW SES were called to the scene.
The victim is yet to be formally identified.
Police believe the pilot was the sole occupant of the aircraft when it crashed.
A crime scene has been established and an investigation is now underway alongside the Australian Transport Safety Bureau (ATSB).
9news.com.au has contacted the ATSB for comment.
A report will be prepared for the coroner.
