A man who collapsed while standing on a road in Melbourne is fighting for his life after being hit by a car overnight.
Police believe the man was standing next to his car when he collapsed on Hummingbird Boulevard in Tarneit about 7.10pm.
He was hit by an oncoming car.

The yet-to-be-identified man was rushed to hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The driver has spoken to police and is assisting them with their enquiries.
Police said the investigation remains ongoing.
