A man has been charged with murder after police found the body of a man with stab wounds in a south-west Sydney home.
A welfare check triggered their visit to Lakemba Street, Belmore, where officers found a 34-year-old man dead inside about 9pm on Saturday.
A crime scene was set up as Campsie police and Homicide Squad detectives launched their investigation.

A 24-year-old man was taken to Concord Hospital for assessment but released without charge.
Then about 11.30am yesterday, police arrested a 21-year-old man at Bankstown police station and charged him with murder.
He’s due in Bankstown Local Court today.
