Four people have been arrested after a man was found dead beside his car on Queensland’s Fraser Coast.

A passer-by found the man’s body on Talegalla Drive, near the intersection with Weir Road at Talegalla Weir about 7.35am on Sunday.

The man had serious injuries to his lower body and was found near his car, a gold Nissan Patrol.

Police investigating the death have since identified a Ford Falcon utility that was allegedly involved in injuring the man.

The car was discovered behind an abandoned building on Bauple Woolooga Road, Bauple, about 11km away, yesterday.

Four people, two women and a man aged in their 20s and a man in his 30s, were arrested at the location.

All four people will be interviewed by police.

The Ford is undergoing forensic examination.
