Two men have been charged after allegedly carrying loaded guns into the Melbourne Cricket Ground last night.

Victoria Police said they were called by MCG security after the two men refused to leave the Carlton-Collingwood AFL clash last night at about 8.30pm.

The men had been asked to leave due to their alleged behaviour.

Officers arrested the two men and allegedly found them both carrying guns.

Nobody was injured.

A 27-year-old Broadmeadows man and a 21-year-old Roxburgh Park man were charged with multiple firearm and bail-related offences.

Both were charged with also possessing ammunition and the 27-year-old was charged with possessing a loaded firearm.

They have been remanded in custody and will appear in court today.
