Family and friends have paid tribute to a ‘sweet’ one-year-old boy who died a week after a three-car crash in Wiltshire.
Teddy was among the four people travelling in a grey Skoda Karo when it crashed into a white Peugeot 208, spun into oncoming traffic, and hit a silver Volvo head-on.
All four – including his brother, aged five – were injured. Teddy has now died in hospital, with his parents and dozens of friends and family paying tribute to the little boy.
‘It’s with a truly broken heart that I say this’, mum Holly Britten wrote on social media.
‘But our gorgeous boy gained his wings today. He was truly the sweetest most loving little character that we were blessed to have. Our hearts are shattered into pieces.
‘Teddy Jason this isn’t a goodbye just a see you later.’

One family friend wrote: ‘The sweetest little boy in the world. My heart breaks for you all. Rest in beautiful paradise Teddy Jason.’
‘This has broken my heart and I couldn’t imagine what you are all going through, love you to bits. Fly high my little angel my thoughts and prayers are with you all. You did not deserve this,’ another wrote.
One person added: ‘I don’t know you but my God – I honestly can’t imagine what you’re going through. So so sorry for the loss of your beautiful boy Teddy.
‘Life can be so cruel this is so devastating for you all and even for me to read like I said I just can’t imagine.’
A 20-year-old woman driving the Peugeot was also seriously injured in the crash on the A303 in Amesbury around 5.30 pm on March 28. Her injuries are not life-threatening.
The Volvo’s driver, a 70-year-old man, sustained minor injuries.
More than £5,000 have been raised for Teddy’s family through a GoFundMe understood to have been launched by the toddler’s uncle.
It says: ‘As most of you are aware my brother, his partner and their kids were involved in a car crash leaving his partner with serious injuries and his 1-year-old boy fighting for his life.
‘Unfortunately due to his injuries, Teddy has now passed away.
‘This will continue to result in missed days at work while still having to cover everyday costs, which is definitely adding up.
‘The money will continue to be used to cover these everyday costs until things become more stable. Some of the funds will be used to provide Teddy and his family with the best farewell possible.
‘Any money remaining will be donated to Ronald McDonald House and the pediatric unit who did a wonderful job at looking after Teddy and supporting the family. Thank you to everyone who has donated so far. It is appreciated.’
Police are appealing for witnesses.
