While you might be full from eating chocolate eggs this Easter, there could be some room for a burger from McDonald’s.

Whether you’re making a long journey to see family and friends or you just fancy treating yourself, you’ll need to know when the fast food chain is open.

Do you want a Big Mac meal or do you fancy something a bit different… like an adult Happy Meal? (Well, kind of.)

Whatever your taste, keep reading this article to find out when McDonald’s opening times are this year.

Is McDonald’s open over Easter?

Yes. Most McDonald’s stores will be open for delivery and collection over Easter Sunday, Easter Monday and Good Friday.

Many locations will operate with their usual hours – but on Easter Sunday and Easter Monday, you may find opening and closing times vary slightly.

There’s no standard opening time for McDonald’s in the UK, so it’s best to check your local restaurant’s specific hours using the handy branch finder.

Some McDonald’s restaurants around the UK are open 24/7 should you find yourself craving chicken nuggets at an unusual time, though.

McDonald’s food items for April 2025

McDonald’s has been busy lately.

The first shake up includes an Apple Cake McFlurry, combining creamy soft-serve with apple and shortcake pieces, finished with a zingy sour apple sauce.

For fans of heat, you are in for a treat from the ‘Nether Flame’ dipping sauce, a fiery addition made to go alongside a special Minecraft Movie Meal.

This combines a Big Mac, nine Chicken McNuggets, four Veggie Dippers, plus your choice of side and drink – you have to be hungry for this one.

There’s also a Minecraft-themed Happy Meal for the kids.

Cheesy Garlic Bread Dippers will also be joining the menu but some Maccies fans have been devastated by some losses.

Mozzarella dippers, the Mars McFlurry and the Shamrock Shake have all been scrapped from the menu.
