A stretch of the M25 during peak rush hour traffic after a motorbike crashed in Surrey.
Drivers faced up to an hour-long delay and congestion snarling back for seven miles after the smash shortly after 8am today.
Traffic was held after the crash involving a motorbike, which happened on the anticlockwise carriageway between J11 (Ottershaw) and J10 (Wisley).
All lanes were opened shortly before 10am and traffic delays have since eased in the area.
The ambulance service is at the scene, National Highways said.

National Highways said that one lane out of four remains closed with roads police working at the scene, with hour-long delays and around eight miles of congestion at about 9am.
Traffic analyst Inrix said the congestion is reaching junction J13 Staines and back past the M3, with a stretch of the motorway closed near junction 10.
Onlookers on the clockwise lane are also causing traffic delays towards J9 Leatherhead, Inrix said.
We approached the emergency services for a comment.
