Emergency services will continue to search a sprawling national park today as an investigation into the suspicious disappearance of missing Queensland teenager Pheobe Bishop continues.

The 17-year-old had been booked to travel to Western Australia via Brisbane on May 15 but she never checked in for her flight at Bundaberg Airport.

The disappearance is being treated as suspicious and police are not ruling out any scenarios.

A makeshift command centre has been set up in the middle of Good Night Scrub National Park in Queensland.

Police and State Emergency Service (SES) volunteers will search Good Night Scrub National Park today.

Detectives are still appealing for information about the movements of a grey Hyundai ix35 with the registration 414EW3 between May 15 and 18 in the Gin Gin area.

Emergency services will also review other areas including Gin Gin and Bundaberg.

Pheobe Bishop was due to travel to Western Australia via Brisbane but never checked in for her flight.

“We are still treating this as a suspicious missing person, we are speaking to a number of persons and they are providing us information,” Queensland Police Detective Acting Inspector Ryan Thompson said.

Several items have also been seized and are undergoing forensic investigation.

Police would not provide any other details about the items.
