Passengers have been caught in rush hour travel chaos on the Tube after a points failure.
If you’re travelling on the London Underground this morning, there is a chance you might be late after severe delays across the network after the points meltdown.
Trains have ground to a halt on the Circle line and Hammersmith & City lines, while some stretches of the District and Hammersmith & City lines had no service during the peak rush hour.
The Circle line continues to have severe delays after the earlier points failure, which happened at Edgware Road this morning.

The Hammersmith & City line was suspended for a few hours. While service has resumed, there are still severe delays.
The District line has no service between High Street Kensington and Edgware Road due to the points failure, and severe delays between High Street Kensington and Wimbledon.
The Metropolitan line is partially suspended between Baker Street and Aldgate because of the points meltdown, and has minor delays on the rest of the line.
Meanwhile, on the Overground, the Windrush line is also reporting issues due to a separate power supply failure in the New Cross Gate area.
The Windrush line is experiencing severe delays between Crystal Palace and Sydenham, while the stretch between Clapham Junction and Surrey Quays is partially suspended.
The power cut is also affecting Southern trains to and from London Victoria and London Bridge, and Thameslink services from Bedford.
While lines have reopened between New Cross Gate and Norwood Junction, trains could still be cancelled, delayed by up to 20 minutes, revised or diverted, National Rail warned.
Services are expected to resume by 8am.
