
A 14-year-old boy was stabbed to death on his way to play football with friends in a park, a court heard.
Ibrahima Seck died after from a single stab wound after he was allegedly attacked by three youths in New Moston, Manchester, at 5pm on Sunday.
He ran to a nearby house for help but died in hospital less than an hour later, Manchester Youth Court heard.
Rebecca Macauley-Addison, prosecuting, said Ibrahima was on his way to play football when he was stabbed.
The three youths, two aged 14 and one aged 16, who cannot be identified because they are under 18, are accused of his murder.

They are all also accused of possession of a bladed article.
Two of those accused, one aged 14 and 16, gave their names and addresses.
The younger boy wore a grey tracksuit and had his aunt and uncle in court sat alongside lawyers.

The older boy wore a blue tracksuit and had his mother and a social worker in court.
Both boys have been remanded into secure youth detention.
The older boy’s mother wiped away tears as she left the court.
The other younger boy, aged 14, wearing a grey tracksuit, was then brought into court where his mother and father were also present – he was also remanded to secure youth detention.
The three boys will appear at Manchester Crown Court on Thursday.
A 37-year-old woman and a 14-year-old girl who were arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender have been released on bail pending further inquiries.
Ibrahima’s family said earlier this week that he was ‘funny, caring and hardworking’ and someone who ‘always made everybody laugh’.
