It’s believed she’s booked on a flight back to Germany in the coming days.

Wilga was brought to the hospital on Friday night following her outback rescue, suffering dehydration, exhaustion, sunburn and mosquito bites.

She revealed she lost 12 kilograms in as many days wandering alone through the bush.

The backpacker disappeared nearly three weeks ago, when she crashed her van in Karroun Hill Reserve in the remote wheatbelt.

That van is still understood to still be bogged there and Wilga will need to arrange for local authorities to remove it.
