Jeffrey Epstein’s brother Mark has revealed shock claims made by the disgraced financier and sex offender in an exclusive conversation with Today and 9News.
Mark Epstein has maintained his brother was murdered, and today he said he was urging the Trump administration to reopen the investigation into Jeffrey Epstein’s death.
“He had dirt on people. He knew a lot of things, about a lot of people. Somebody wanted to keep him quiet,” Mark Epstein told Nine reporter Jonathan Kearsley.

“Well, I’ve already said publicly that it’s out there that in 2016, during the election, Jeffrey told me that – he didn’t tell me what he knew – but he told me that if he said what he knew about the candidates, that they would have to cancel the election.”
Mark Epstein is also urging the Trump administration to release the documents related to the investigations into his brother that have been dubbed the “Epstein file”.
Epstein was ruled to have died by suicide in his jail cell in 2019 as he awaited trial on sex trafficking charges.

US President Donald Trump, as a candidate, helped fan theories of child sex offender Epstein’s connections to high-level elites, and promised to release the Epstein file if re-elected.
However, Trump recently reversed that position, with the White House recently saying the file would not be made public, and affirming that Epstein died by suicide.
After variously urging his followers and the media to ignore the issue, claiming it was a hoax perpetrated by the Democratic Party, and disparaging his supporters who continued to push for the file’s release, Trump finally again promised “transparency” over the issue.

US Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche last week met with Epstein’s former girlfriend Ghislaine Maxwell, who was jailed in 2021 after she was convicted of procuring underage girls for Epstein.
Blanche promised information would be released at an “appropriate” time.
Trump and Epstein had been friends in the 1990s, with Trump this morning revealing he ended their association after Epstein hired people who had worked for Trump.
