
A woman who plunged to her death from a block of flats has been named by police who have launched a murder investigation.
Tia Langdon, from Southampton, fell at around 2.43pm on Thursday in Cuckmere Lane, near Redbridge Rail station.
Emergency services found the 25-year-old woman with ‘significant injuries’.
She was rushed to hospital, but died there the following day despite the efforts of doctors.
Her family have been informed and are being supported by specialist officers.

Her younger sister posted an emotional tribute to Tia on Facebook, saying: ‘RIP to my big sister. I love you forever and always, thank you for always making me laugh.
‘Every time you were around, you always said you were proud of me, even if it was the littlest thing
‘Thank you for being my big sister forever and always.’
A Hampshire Police spokesperson said: ‘Tia’s family are being supported by specialist officers at this time.Officers from our Major Crime Unit continue to investigate the incident.’
Police are not looking for any further suspects at this time.
Any detail of his identity or his connection with the woman have not been released as of yet.
Relatives laid dozens of floral tributes outside the block of flats.
According to the Daily Echo one handwritten note read: ‘Thank you for always being proud of me.
‘Thank you for being the best big sister ever. You were the smartest person I ever knew, and I’ll forever be proud of you.’
In an update on Wednesday, Hampshire Police said an 18-year-old man had been charged with manslaughter and seven other offences.
Jaiden Hassan-Agard, of Stour Close, Southampton, was charged with manslaughter on Monday evening, the force said.
Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary said the man was British-born and identified as mixed white and black Caribbean.
The teenager was also charged with making threats to kill, false imprisonment and threatening with an offensive weapon in a private place in relation to Ms Langdon and the second woman at the address, as well as kidnap relating to the second alleged victim.
Hassan-Agard was remanded in custody and will appear before Southampton Magistrates’ Court later on today.
