Donald Trump has touched down in London this morning for an unprecedented second state visit to the UK, where he will meet King Charles III and Prime Minister Keir Starmer.
Trump, accompanied by First Lady Melania Trump, landed at Stansted Airport in London early this morning, following the arrival of US Secretary of State Marco Rubio.
Photos showed the Trumps disembarking Air Force One after it landed at night local time.

Trump was greeted by the King’s Colour Squadron of the Royal Air Force, as well as US Ambassador Monica Crowley and the Viscount Hood, Lord-in-Waiting.
The US first couple will be taken to Winfield House, the official residence of the US ambassador to the UK.
Trump, who was previously hosted by Queen Elizabeth II on a state visit during his first administration, is the only US president to have received a second state visit invitation.

He spoke to reporters about his admiration for Charles and the royal family before leaving the US.
“They’re friends of mine for a long time, long before he was king. And it’s an honour to have him as king,” Trump said.
“And, you know … I think he represents the country so well. I’ve watched, he’s such an elegant gentleman and he represents the country so well.”

Trump is expected to lay a wreath at the tomb of Queen Elizabeth as well as attend a military parade on the grounds of Windsor Castle.
Protesters have also greeted the US president’s arrival, assembling outside Windsor Castle in a large group.
Tomorrow night local time, the Trumps and the US delegation will attend a state banquet hosted by the king.
He will also meet Starmer before travelling back to the US later this week.
